Standard Rights & Licensing
Unless a final signed agreement states otherwise, Cardoe Record retains the underlying copyright and publishing ownership in the composition. A purchase, preview fee, auction entry fee, bid, or winning-bid charge does not by itself transfer copyright or publishing ownership.
What a purchaser is acquiring
The purchaser receives only the performance, use, synchronization, distribution, exclusivity, territory, term, media, and other rights specifically identified in the final written agreement for that song.
Rights retained by Cardoe Record
Copyright, publishing, songwriter interests, and master ownership not expressly transferred remain with Cardoe Record and/or the applicable rights holder.
Auctions and purchases
A winning auction establishes the purchase amount and buyer obligation. Final delivery and the exact rights grant remain governed by the written agreement for the offering.
